What happens in One Bed With My Roommate
Short on cash, Ren rents his spare room to Yama, the woman he has a crush on. Her reckless friend Mira follows her in and makes his bed the prize in a bet, and while the two compete, Mira's dangerous ex returns to collect a debt.
A crowded apartment and a dangerous ex
This series packs a lot in: a crush, a wild friend, a bet and a threat from outside. The shared apartment gives it a contemporary setting, and the ex adds an action element that most romance-driven series lack. The two women compete, and Ren is caught between them and the trouble Mira brought with her.
It is tagged Fantasy, an unusual label for a modern shared apartment, which may hint at stylised or anime-inspired characters. All are adults invented by candy.ai.
How much is free
You can watch episodes 1 and 2 without paying, covering the move-in and the start of the bet. The ex’s return and its consequences are in the 3 paid episodes, at 12 tokens each, 36 tokens in total.
Who will like it
Viewers who like busy, multi-character plots with a bit of danger. It is close to the thirsty-roommates series in setup, but adds an outside threat. If you prefer a simple roommate romance, the cosplay colleague series is gentler.
The Fantasy tag makes it show up next to dragons and castles in filters, which can be surprising.
Expect more plot twists than usual for five episodes.
Who is who in One Bed With My Roommate
Ren, his crush Yama, her best friend Mira and Mira’s ex are the cast. Broke Ren rents his spare room to Yama; Mira moves in too and turns his bed into the prize of a bet; as the two women compete, Mira’s dangerous ex comes back to collect what he is owed. The bet drives the first half and the ex supplies the danger in the second. It is a crowded apartment story with a thriller thread. Everyone is an adult.
candy.ai pairs this series with its character Yama Gito; no other series uses that profile yet.
Roommates with complications
Roommate stories range from playful to dangerous. My Roommates Made a Bet keeps the wager and adds a twist, My Roommates are Thirsty! stars two recurring characters, and Hey, Loser turns teasing into a game.
If the threat from outside was the part you liked, She Was Sent to Kill Me raises the danger much further.
Before you start One Bed With My Roommate
Yama and Mira are introduced in the free part, along with the bet. The dangerous ex appears later, in the paid episodes, which cost 36 tokens.
