The short answer
Legit, with caveats
Candy AI Shorts is safe in the sense that matters most: it is a real product from a real company, EverAI Limited, registered in Malta, which also runs candy.ai. It is not a scam. On November 3, 2026 it held 204 series and 1,033 episodes, 185 of which play with no account at all. Card charges show as EverAI. The genuine risks are three: plans renew automatically until you stop them, paid episodes cost tokens on top of the plan, and getting money back after a charge is not guaranteed. The biggest danger is not candy.ai at all but the copycat "leak", "unlock" and "free full episode" sites using its name.
Verified on candy.ai,
Episode 1 is free, no account on each.

“Is it safe” can mean several things: is the company real, will my card be charged correctly, can anyone see what I watched, and are the people on screen consenting adults. This page takes each one in turn, separating what we verified from what we could not.
Candy AI Shorts is the video section of candy.ai, and both are run by EverAI Limited, a company registered in Malta. candy.ai started as an AI companion app, chatting and image generation, and added the short video series later. The two share one account, one billing system and, for 160 of the 204 series, the same characters.
There are two official places to watch: candyshorts.com and candy.ai/candy-shorts. Anything else using the name, whether an app, a mirror, a download page or a Telegram channel, is not run by EverAI.
This guide is not run by EverAI either. We are an independent site that earns a commission when people subscribe through our buttons, which is why we spell out the risks below rather than skipping them.
A common scam pattern is a slick front page with nothing behind the paywall. That is not the case here. The catalogue is large, public and countable, and we count it every week:
| What we counted | Figure |
|---|---|
| Series | 204 |
| Episodes | 1,033 |
| Free episodes | 370 |
| Paid episodes | 663 |
| Episodes that play with no account | 185 |
| Series with subtitles | 183 |
The free episodes are the strongest evidence: you can see what you would be buying before entering anything. A product that lets you watch 185 episodes without an email address is not hiding an empty shop.
Charges show as EverAI. Nothing on the statement says Candy, Candy AI or Candy Shorts. That is discreet if you share a statement with someone, and confusing if you forget you subscribed: an unfamiliar company name with a recurring amount looks a lot like fraud. If you see EverAI and you, or someone using your card, signed up for Candy AI Shorts or candy.ai, it is that subscription.
If nobody in your household signed up, treat it as card misuse and call your bank, as you would for any unknown charge.
Nothing at first: episode 1 plays with no account, after an age confirmation. A free account, which needs an email address and a password, opens episode 2. A card is only needed to buy a plan or tokens.
Two sensible habits: use a password you do not use anywhere else, and only ever sign in on candyshorts.com or candy.ai. Pages that ask you to “log in with your candy.ai account to unlock” something are the most common way people lose their accounts.
| Plan | Charged | Per month |
|---|---|---|
| 1 month | $13.99 (first month $9.99) | $13.99 |
| 3 months | $26.97 up front | $8.99 (36% less) |
| 12 months | $47.88 up front | $3.99 (71% less) |
The misreading is the $3.99. It is the yearly plan’s average, charged as $47.88 in a single payment. People who expect a small monthly debit and see the full year taken at once sometimes think they have been overcharged. They have not, but the headline invites the mistake. The price page has the full arithmetic.
Every plan renews automatically at the end of its term. candy.ai says you can cancel at any time in your account settings, which stops the next charge. The risk is forgetting: a yearly plan renewing a year later is the most expensive version of that. Set a reminder the day you subscribe. How to cancel covers what we could verify.
A plan does not unlock every episode. Paid episodes cost tokens, 12 on most series and 30 on the performer series, and each plan includes 100 tokens a month. Run out, and more tokens cost extra. That is disclosed, but many people discover it only after subscribing.
Canceling stops future charges; it does not return past ones. We could not verify a refund policy that guarantees money back, so treat a refund as a request support may or may not grant. The practical protection is to cancel before renewal, and to try the free episodes before paying at all.
Around any popular adult product grows a ring of sites trading on its name: “leaked episodes”, “unlock all with this APK”, “free full episodes, just verify your age with a card”. With Candy AI Shorts these are especially pointless, because nothing was filmed and so nothing can leak, and especially risky, because the people searching are often in a hurry and on a phone.
The patterns are predictable: card forms disguised as age checks, fake candy.ai login pages, and installers promising to unlock episodes. The leaks page describes each one and what to do if you already entered something. The short rule: if it is not candyshorts.com or candy.ai, do not type a card number or a password into it.
Every character is generated by AI. 21 series use the licensed likeness of a real adult performer: Riley Reid on seven, Mia Malkova on four, Bonnie Blue and Lexi Luna on three each, and Asa Akira and Sophie Dee on two each. candy.ai calls these digital twins. The performers agreed to the license and are credited by name; the episodes are generated from it, and nobody filmed a scene. All other characters were invented by the platform and are written as adults.
So consent here is about licensing a likeness, not about a recorded performance. The performers page explains how that works and who is involved.
From the outside, very little. The charge reads EverAI. Episodes stream in a browser, so there is no app icon on your phone unless you add one. If you share a device, a private window keeps the history off it. Inside candy.ai, your account holds what you watched and the chats you started, like any streaming or chat service; read its privacy policy for how long that is kept. This guide sees none of it: we have no accounts and run no analytics, as our privacy page explains.
Watching on candyshorts.com or candy.ai is ordinary web video; there is nothing to install. The device risk comes from elsewhere: “mod” apps, desktop “unlockers” and download buttons on unofficial sites. candy.ai offers no files of any kind, so anything that asks you to install something to watch Candy AI Shorts did not come from candy.ai.
It is adult content for adults. Every character is generated by software and written as an adult; nothing depicts a real person except through the licensed likenesses of six consenting adult performers. Whether adult content may be accessed where you live is a matter of local law, which varies; the site requires an 18+ confirmation and is not suitable for shared or work devices.
If you were charged after canceling, write to candy.ai support with the date and amount, and keep the cancellation confirmation. If you see a charge nobody in your household made, call your bank. If you entered a card or a password on a site that only pretended to be candy.ai, follow the steps on the leaks page straight away. And if something on this guide is wrong, tell us.
Candy AI Shorts runs in an ordinary browser tab on candy.ai, so nothing has to be installed to watch it. That keeps the footprint small, but a browser still remembers things: the address in your history, a saved login, the cookies that keep you signed in. On a device someone else uses, a private or incognito window avoids most of that, and signing out at the end of a session removes the rest.
Two smaller details catch people out. Browser autofill can suggest the candy.ai address the next time anyone types a “c” into the address bar, and a password manager may offer to save the login where others can see it. On a work laptop the bigger issue is not the browser at all: company networks often log the sites visited, whatever mode the browser is in. Adult sites are best kept to a personal device on a personal connection.
The account is where your payment method and your history live, so it deserves the same care as any other paid service. Use a password you do not use anywhere else, because a leaked password from another site is the most common way accounts get taken over. If you prefer to keep adult services apart from your main inbox, a separate email address for signups does the job without breaking any rules.
Always reach the site by typing candy.ai yourself or through a link you trust, and check the address before you enter a password. The copycat pages described further up this page often look convincing, and the only reliable test is the address bar. If you ever suspect someone else has your password, change it on candy.ai first and then anywhere else you reused it.
If you have used a mainstream short-drama app such as ReelShort or DramaBox, the structure will feel familiar: vertical episodes of a few minutes, the first ones free, and the rest unlocked with an in-app currency or a subscription. candy.ai works the same way with tokens, except that a plan is also needed and the content is explicit, which is why it lives on an adult website rather than in the mainstream app stores.
The familiar model is also where most billing surprises come from. Unlocks feel small one at a time and add up over a long series, and plans renew automatically until you cancel. Neither is a trick, but both are worth knowing before the first payment: episode 1 free without signing up and episode 2 free with an account, paid episodes cost 12 tokens on standard series and 30 on performer series, and the cancellation guide explains how to stop a renewal in time.
If you share a computer or a tablet with children, adult services belong behind a lock. The simplest options are the parental controls built into the device, which can block adult websites by category, and a separate user profile for yourself. On a home network, many routers and DNS services can filter adult sites for every device at once. None of this is specific to candy.ai, but it is the responsible setup for any adult website, and it also stops autofill and history from giving anything away.
Candy AI Shorts is one part of candy.ai; the other is chat with AI characters, including the profiles of the performers on the creators list. Both sit under the same account and the same payment method. That matters in two ways. Anything you write in a chat is tied to your account, like your viewing history, so it is worth keeping personal details out of it. And if you use both, it is easy to lose track of what each part costs you, so check your balance and plan before topping up.
A few signs mean you have left the real site, whatever the page looks like. The address is anything other than candy.ai. The page asks for a card to “verify your age” or to unlock a free episode, which candy.ai’s own free episodes never require. It offers a download, an APK or a “full episode” outside the platform. Or it hurries you with a countdown or a pop-up that will not close. Any one of these is enough to close the tab.
We say what we checked and flag what we did not:
Safe is not the same as worth it. 173 of the 204 series end after five episodes, so a paid series is usually three short episodes. Tokens run out quickly on long series and performer series. The yearly plan is charged up front. And the format is designed to lead into the candy.ai chat. If the free episodes did not grab you, there is no safety argument for paying. Our review weighs it up.
People ask the same question as “is candyshorts safe”, “is Candy AI Shorts legit”, “Candy AI Shorts scam”, “is candy.ai shorts real” and “EverAI charge”. They all come back to the same answers: a real product from a registered company, with billing habits worth knowing and copycat sites worth avoiding.
Catalogue figures, prices and the free-episode rule were read from candy.ai on November 3, 2026 and are refreshed weekly. The operator name and billing descriptor come from candy.ai’s own checkout. We could not verify refund outcomes or the full cancellation flow and say so above. This guide is independent of candy.ai and EverAI Limited and earns affiliate commission on subscriptions.
No. It is a working product with 204 series and 1,033 episodes, run by EverAI Limited of Malta and sold through candy.ai. The fair complaints are about auto-renewal and how tokens work, not about whether you get what is advertised.
Yes. It is the official video section of candy.ai, with two official sites (candyshorts.com and candy.ai/candy-shorts), a registered operator and a free part you can test before paying: episode 1 free without signing up and episode 2 free with an account.
EverAI, the trading name of EverAI Limited, the Malta company behind candy.ai. There is no "Candy" in the descriptor, so the charge is easy to miss or mistake for fraud.
Signing up needs an email and a password; episode 1 plays with no account at all. Use a password you do not use elsewhere, and sign up only on candyshorts.com or candy.ai, never through a link on a leak or unlock page.
No. Paid episodes cost tokens: 12 on most series and 30 on performer series. Every plan includes 100 tokens a month, enough for about eight standard episodes. More tokens cost extra.
We could not verify a refund policy that guarantees one. Canceling stops future charges; getting back money already charged is a separate request to support, decided case by case. Cancel before renewal rather than counting on a refund.
No. Nothing was filmed, so no leak exists, and pages that claim one typically ask for a card number, a candy.ai password or an app install. Those are the real risks around this product.
No. They licensed their likeness to candy.ai, which generates their characters with AI. They are credited and consented to the license, but no scene was filmed.
On the yearly plan, for people who enjoyed the free episodes, it can be. On the monthly plan, or for anyone wanting long stories, usually not. Our review sets out both sides.
No. It is a working service that delivers what it sells, run by EverAI Limited and billed as EverAI. The real risks are elsewhere: copycat sites that imitate it, and plans that renew automatically until you cancel.
The charge shows as EverAI rather than as an adult site name, which is discreet. Anyone who looks up that name can still find out what it is, and your browser history and email are more revealing than the statement.
Enter it only on candy.ai's own checkout, reached by typing the address yourself. Never enter a card on a page that promises free or leaked episodes, or that asks for a card to check your age: the real free episodes never need one.
