The short answer
Yes, it renews
Yes, every Candy AI Shorts plan renews automatically until you cancel it, and the charge shows on your statement as EverAI, not Candy. candy.ai says you can cancel at any time in your account settings; doing so stops the next charge, and the plan normally runs to the end of the period you already paid for. Canceling is not a refund: money already charged is a separate request to support, and we could not verify any guarantee of getting it back. The cheapest cancellation is the one you never need: episode 1 free without signing up and episode 2 free with an account, so you can judge a series before paying anything.

Most problems people have with Candy AI Shorts billing come down to two things: a renewal they forgot about, and a charge under a name they did not recognize. This page explains both, says exactly what canceling does, and is clear about the parts we could not verify.
Yes, all plans do. Whatever length you choose, it renews at the end of its term for the same length and price until you cancel:
| Plan | What you pay | Per month | Renews as |
|---|---|---|---|
| 1 month | $13.99 (first month $9.99) | $13.99 | $13.99 every month |
| 3 months | $26.97, charged at once | $8.99 | $26.97 every three months |
| 12 months | $47.88, charged at once | $3.99 | $47.88 every year |
The yearly plan is the one that surprises people. It is easy to forget a charge you made twelve months ago, and the renewal arrives as one large payment. If you choose it, set a reminder for a few days before the anniversary the same day you subscribe.
candy.ai and Candy AI Shorts bill under EverAI, the trading name of EverAI Limited in Malta. Your statement will not say Candy. If you are hunting for the subscription in your bank app or card provider’s list of recurring payments, search for EverAI.
If you see EverAI and nobody with access to the card subscribed, it is not a forgotten plan: call your bank and report it as an unknown charge.
candy.ai states that you can cancel at any time in your account settings. That is the verified part, and it is the step that matters: cancel there and the next renewal does not happen.
We deliberately do not publish a click-by-click walkthrough. Menus change, and we could not verify every screen, so instructions with invented button names would be worse than none. In practice: sign in on candy.ai, open your account or subscription settings, and choose the option to cancel. If you subscribed through an app store, the subscription may instead be managed in that store’s settings.
A few habits that help:
As far as we can tell, canceling does not cut you off immediately: the plan runs to the end of the period you paid for, and you keep watching until then. What candy.ai does with episodes unlocked by tokens after a plan has fully ended is not something it states clearly, so we will not promise they stay available forever.
The same goes for unspent tokens. Each plan includes 100 tokens a month, and the safest assumption is that they belong to an active plan. If you have tokens left and intend to cancel, spend them first. A standard paid episode costs 12 tokens and a performer episode 30.
| Question | Canceling | A refund |
|---|---|---|
| What it does | Stops future charges | Returns money already charged |
| Who decides | You, in your account settings | candy.ai, case by case |
| Usual result | The plan runs to the end of the term, then stops | Not guaranteed by anything we could verify |
| Where it happens | Your candy.ai account | A written request to support with the charge details |
If you want money back for a charge, write to candy.ai support as soon as you notice it, with the date, the amount and the last digits of the card. Keep it short and factual. If that fails and you believe the charge was not authorised, your bank can advise on a dispute; for a renewal you agreed to but forgot, a dispute is less likely to succeed.
Most people subscribe on the web at candy.ai, and the steps above apply. If you instead paid through an app store’s in-app purchase, the subscription is usually controlled by the store, not by candy.ai, and has to be canceled in the store’s subscription settings on your phone. Your receipt email shows which way you paid: a receipt from the store means the store manages it; a charge from EverAI means candy.ai does.
Canceling stops the next charge, so there is no reason to waste the current period. Spend the tokens you have left, since unspent monthly tokens are best assumed to lapse with the plan. With 100 tokens you can unlock eight standard episodes or three performer episodes; the long series such as YES MA’AM are where tokens go furthest in story terms. Then cancel, ideally a few days before the renewal date.
If you need to contact candy.ai about a charge, a short, complete message gets a faster answer. Include the email address on your account, the date and amount of the charge as it appears on your statement (EverAI), the last four digits of the card, whether you have already canceled and when, and what you are asking for: confirmation of cancellation, or a refund of a specific charge. Keep a copy of what you send.
First check the dates: a plan canceled after its renewal date has already renewed, and the cancellation applies to the following one. If the charge came after a cancellation that was confirmed before renewal, send support your confirmation and the charge details and ask for the charge to be reversed. If that does not resolve it, your bank can advise on disputing the payment, and the confirmation you saved will be your evidence.
The surest way to avoid an unwanted renewal is not to subscribe until you know you want to. 370 of the 1,033 episodes are free: episode 1 free without signing up and episode 2 free with an account. 185 of them need no account at all, and none needs a card. Watch a few first episodes across different series; if you are still curious after that, a one-month plan is the low-risk test. The free episodes page shows how far that gets you.
If you have already decided Candy AI Shorts is not for you, our review explains the common reasons people stop, and the safety page covers the copycat sites to avoid while you are at it.
People search for this as “cancel candy shorts”, “cancel Candy AI Shorts”, “candyshorts cancel subscription”, “how to cancel candy.ai” and “EverAI cancel”. They are the same subscription: one candy.ai account covers the chat and Candy AI Shorts, so canceling one plan stops billing for both.
Most cancellations start with the wrong plan. A month at $13.99 is the most flexible choice and the most expensive per month; the three-month plan costs $26.97, about $8.99 a month; and the year costs $47.88, the cheapest per month and the longest commitment. If you only want to finish one or two series, the monthly plan and a calendar reminder are usually enough. If you already know you will keep watching, the longer plans make sense, as long as you remember that they renew too.
A simple rule of thumb: count the series you actually intend to finish before you pick. Every plan adds 100 tokens a month, which covers several standard paid episodes, so a short list of stories rarely justifies a year up front.
Canceling and deleting are two different things. Canceling stops the next renewal and leaves your account in place, with your history and anything you already unlocked. Deleting the account removes the profile itself, and it is a separate request that you make on candy.ai or through its support. If your goal is simply not to be charged again, canceling is enough; if you want no trace of the account left, cancel first and then ask for deletion, so that no renewal is pending while the request is processed.
A card dispute is a last resort, not a shortcut. It makes sense when a charge appears that you did not authorize, or when you canceled in time and were charged anyway and support has not resolved it. In those cases keep the cancellation confirmation, the date and any messages with support, because your bank will ask for them.
For a renewal you simply forgot about, a dispute is less likely to succeed and may lead the service to close the account. Writing to support first, with the details listed above, is the faster route in most cases. Whatever you decide, check the next statement: a dispute or a refund should show up as a separate line, and the renewal should not come back.
A few mistakes account for most surprise renewals. Removing a bookmark, signing out or deleting a browser app does not cancel anything; the plan renews until it is canceled in the account. People with more than one email address sometimes cancel on the wrong account and keep paying on the other one. And leaving it to the last day is risky, because the renewal can run earlier in the day than you expect in your time zone. Cancel a few days before the date, and keep a screenshot of the confirmation.
Plenty of people subscribe for a single story. If that is you, the cleanest approach is to take the monthly plan, finish the series, and cancel straight away; the plan normally keeps working until the end of the period you paid for, and nothing renews. Before paying, check how many paid episodes the series has and what they cost on its page here, so you know whether the tokens included with a month are enough or whether you will need more.
Verified on November 3, 2026: the three plans and their prices, that plans renew, that the charge appears as EverAI, that candy.ai says canceling is possible at any time in settings, and the free-episode rule. Not verified: the exact cancellation screens, how refund requests are handled, and what happens to unlocked episodes and unspent tokens once a plan has fully ended. Where something is unverified, this page says so instead of guessing.

Yes. The monthly, three-month and twelve-month plans all renew at the end of their term until you cancel. The yearly plan renews as a single charge of $47.88.
In your candy.ai account settings, where candy.ai says you can cancel at any time. The same account covers Candy AI Shorts, so there is only one subscription to stop. Cancel before the renewal date to avoid the next charge.
That is candy.ai. EverAI Limited, registered in Malta, runs candy.ai and Candy AI Shorts and bills under the name EverAI. If nobody in your household subscribed, report the charge to your bank.
Possibly, but we could not verify any guarantee. Canceling only stops future charges. To ask for money back, contact candy.ai support in writing with the date and amount of the charge, as soon as you notice it.
Not straight away, as far as we can tell: the plan normally runs until the end of the paid period. What happens to unlocked episodes after a plan ends is not something candy.ai spells out, so we do not promise permanent access.
candy.ai does not clearly publish whether unspent monthly tokens survive the end of a plan. Assume the 100 monthly tokens are tied to an active plan and spend them before the period ends.
No. Canceling a plan stops billing; your account remains, with the free episodes still available. Deleting the account is a separate step in candy.ai's settings.
All three cancel the same way. The monthly plan is the least risky, because forgetting to cancel costs one month ($13.99), not a year ($47.88).
Yes. 370 episodes are free: episode 1 free without signing up and episode 2 free with an account. 185 of them play with no account at all, so there is nothing to cancel.
Yes. You can cancel whenever you like before the renewal date, and as far as we can tell the plan keeps running until the end of the period you already paid for.
No. Canceling stops the next renewal and leaves the account in place. Deleting the account is a separate step, best taken after canceling so that no renewal is pending.
Yes, if you have any left. The safest assumption is that tokens belong to an active plan, so use them on the episodes you want before the plan ends.
Look for three things: a confirmation on screen or by email when you cancel, the plan shown as ending rather than renewing in your account, and no new EverAI charge on the statement after the renewal date. Keep a screenshot of the confirmation until that date has passed; it is the proof support and your bank will ask for if a charge appears anyway.
